Dr.
Christine Stroop Dr. Christine Stroop, 93, Clarksville, died
Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will
be held at 11am Monday Nov. 12, 2007 at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Chapel
with Brother Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be from 10 am till the hour
of service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is
in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 1:30
pm Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro. Dr. Stroop was a
Doctor of Education and she retired from Austin Peay State
University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Erskin Stroop and companion Dr. Tom Savage. She was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ. Survivors include cousins Randell Harley of Nashville, Bert Wiggs of Franklin and Carl Henry Wiggs of Alabama. Pallbeaers will be Stacey Cumberland, Ricky Cumberland, Ed Snead and Roy McCluskey. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Middle Tennessee Chapter 4004 Hillsboro Pike. Suite 219B, Nashville, TN. 37215.
