Armand Lorentz Garder, born 1.february 1934, is an electrical engineer educated in Sweden in 1962. He worked as an electro consultant in Stockholm, Sweden.  Later, in 1969, he started his own company with 60 employees. In 1993 he became a fulltime farmer on our farm in Sylling.  Now he is building a house near Drammen, and they are moving there this summer, when Bjorn is taking over the farm.  Armand's greatest passion is hunting. He has been on two trips to Canada, and his merits there is a Grizzly Bear, two Black Bears, a wolf, and a big moose, 650 kg.  In Norway he has shot about numerous Norwegian elk's, wild Reindeer and deer. 


Ase Helene Garder,born 21. September 1935, birthname Haugen. Her profession is Doctor. Specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. Educated in Zürich, Switzerland and Stocholm, Sweden where she met Armand. After working some years in hospitals in Sweden and Norway she opened her own practice in Drammen.  She loves spending her time in Spain where they have a house.
  She also likes embrodery and knitting for her children and grandchildren. She speaks 6 languages.
