Major Wiggs will serve as inspector and executive at the annual
military training camp at Ft. Moultrie, South Carolina.
Major Wiggs has served in two conflicts with credit, having advanced from private in the Arkansas National Guard to Major in the Reserves.  He first saw duty on the Mexican border in 1916. Receiving his commission, he went overseas with the 118th Infantry and was wounded in action on the French front.  He was assigned to special duty with the Provost Marshal before returning to the U.S.  He was commissioned as major in 1929.  He has served as President of the Reserve Officers' Association in Chattanooga and President of the Tennessee Department.
