I carry Olaf's name as my middle name. I am a Mechanical Engineer, living with Tami in California, where I am currently employed teaching engineers how to use CAD/CAE software. Tami is working on her Masters Degree as a geographer and plans to teach in the California Community College system, hopefully in 2002. I am a computer fanatic, with four in use in my house, plus a network and high speed access to the world. I'm also happy to include my e-mail address, should anyone in the family, as extended as I now see that it is, desires to contact me and converse. At least one of the machines can generate proper characters for Norwegian. Whether I can adequately express myself is another matter entirely!

Shirley still lives in Park Rapids. In fact, any time you see a map of the US, you can find her home, no matter the scale, as the Mississippi river begins its trek to the Gulf of Mexico from its headwaters, 20 miles from her home. She is retired from a variety of community service jobs, like Public Librarian, and special education teacher. She's actively involved in the Park Rapids community, through her church, The Sons of Norway, and a variety of community service activities.
